Dakota smiled at Erin, welcoming. "Oh, my favorite class will definately be Herbology, or Muggle Studies. Though, I hear that History of Magic was excellent." He smiled, and closed his book. He noticed that she was finished, and...well, as was he. But, he was going to head onto his other homework, when he stopped.
And, Dakota couldn't help but burst into a fit of laughter when Gryffin announced that Umbridge was now a toad. He was annoyed by that woman, but he didn't mind her teaching. Truth was, Dakota was never excellent at magic, he was better at testing, at book smarts.
He listened intently to the conversation in front of him about Umbridge.

Will and Blaize walked slowly into the libary, there was nothing to do now it was raining. He saw the large group of people and sat down next to Alice and Erin.
"Hey every one whats up?" he asked group "Whats happened to Umbridge I heard people talking that she's in the hospital wing or something?" he asked.

"Hey Will." Dakota smiled at the Slytherin, and put his books back in his bag. "Apparently Umbridge was turned into a toad, and nothing Madam Pomfrey is doing will fix it." He giggled, and thought about the professor as an actual toad.
It fit her perfectly, seeing as she looked like one already.

"I heard that nothing but fairy magic will affect fairy magic, so it may have to just wear off." Luna stated, putting her own books away.
Luna didn't mind Will even though he was a Slytherin, for some reason she noticed that the Slytherins this year were much better than they had been before. The relationships between the four houses also seemed to be getting better.
"Professor Umbridge is probably very angry. Maybe someone should take her some flies? Isn't that what toads eat?" Luna asked, seeming to actually be worried about the toad dragon lady.

Gryffin laughed at the idea of feeding flies to Umbridge, "Exactly. Maybe I should pay her a visit." He said, rubbing his hands together eagerly to get into mischief. He then looked down at his watch and sighed.
"But it'll have to wait. Time to get to class." He frowned, he hated having to put his pranks on hold just to go to class.

"oh is it that time allready?" Erin asked, the time just seemed to fly by.
She was very excited, only one more lesson left then there wouldn't be much more time to wait untill the party.
She jumped up from her seat and headed towards ancient runes with the others.

October looked up from her work as Will told everyone what had happened to Umbridge, she laughed along with the others, that had got to be Evvie's doing, she thought gleefully.
She had just finished her work when Erin and Gryffin announced that class would be starting soon, glad she had her homework out of the way she gathered up her books, said goodbye to everyone and set off for history of magic with Andie, Luna, Dakota and Erik close behind.

Kain walked into the library slowly, and walked over to the corner, by the fire which was gently flaming. Kain sat down in the comfy armchair, and sighed.
He looked through his bag and took out his divination book, and his deck of cards. He decided to pass the time, by looking through the card deck. There was alot of things he didn't know about divination, and he hated to admit it, but it was his worst subject. He never knew how to do anything.
He closed his eyes, and started to doze off. The fire, combined with the calming aura of the library was making him sleepy, and he had to force himself to stay up. But, he failed, and decided that Penelope would wake him when she got here.
His grey eyes closed peacefully, as darkness enveloped him, if only for a minute.

Penelope walked into the library and looked around. She spotted Kain sitting by the fireplace. When she walked over to him, she noticed that he was sound asleep and she smiled softly. She laid her bag down beside the vacant chair and watched him sleep for a few seconds before leaning over and putting her hand on his shoulder.
"Hi Kain," she whispered in his ear.

Kain was startled by Penelope's voice so close to his head. He opened his eyes, and chuckled a bit. "Hello Penelope." He said, and stretched lazily, before opening the divination book. "So, shall we get started? After all, we want to finish this homework before the party." He smiled, and decided to completely forget about what happened in Ancient Runes class.
"Alright, you'll have to go first though, since I don't know how to do this. Ask Kyle, he knows." He laughed quietly, remembering him and Kyle when they were trying to figure out how to read the tarot cards.

Penelope laughed quietly and went to her chair and pulled her own divination book along with her deck of cards. "I'm afraid that you're probably better than I am at this. But lets try anyway."
She focused her thoughts on Kain, which wasn't very hard to do since Kain was all she wanted to think about, and she took the deck and laid them out the way that the book said to do. She looked down at the first card was the emperor.
"Okay, the first card is suppose to describe you, and hey isn't that the same card you got in class? Well I don't need to explain that one, so we'll go on with the next one." She continued, and looked down at the next card. It was the hanged man.
"This card signifies something about your past. The hanged man is a card about sacrifice but also about being able to see the world more clearly, or differently. Apparently something happened to you that changed you almost completely. An awakening?" Penelope said, she looked up at Kain and shrugged, "I'm sorry, I'm horrible with this." She said and blushed.
She went on to the next card, "This card is suppose to represent something thats going to happen in the present. Its the Queen of Cups." She informed, then quickly went to find what the Queen of Cups meant, "Apparently you've met, or you're going to meet a woman or girl that is somewhat of an emotional healer. This book calls her the fix-it all type. It seems that when she's around things seem better." She read, then giggled, "I could use someone like her in my life." She said with a grin as she looked up at Kain.
Then she continued on to the next card, "Okay and for your future Kain.. the card Death." Penelope frowned slightly but quickly read in her book. "Okay, thats not a bad card, it means renewel. It means that you'll go through a troubling time but that you'll make it through and be stronger and maybe even happier than ever because of it." Penelope finished.
She shrugged, "Well atleast thats what all the cards say." She said happily.

Kain listened intently to every word Penelope said. Everything was correct, yet the card of Death scared him a bit. Well, just the title.
And he smiled when Penelope read aloud the Queen of Cups. "I think you're the queen." He stated, nochalontly, and leaned back in his chair, taking down notes for the assignment. "Seems like I smile alot more when your around." He spoke simply, and smiled again, showing off his pearly whites. It was true, after all, he would've never thought that he would've fallen for Penelope, and yet, here they were, sitting comfortably by the fire, telling eachother's tarot readings. Romantic, no? He was looking through his bag, and touched the journal, and pulled it out. He put it to the side, for he planned on finally bulking up enough courage to read it later. He picked up the first card, and turned it over.
"The Ace of Cups." He spoke, and looked down to his book. "It represents love, it states that you may be an emotional person, but you hide it well, in hopes of happiness. Lets see....It however, is not a garuntee of happiness, but a garuntee that you have a chance to make happiness for yourself." He smiled, and looked at Penelope. It sounded a bit like her. He flipped over the next card and sucked in a breath.
"The Three of Cups." He nodded, and read the discription. "It represents a very happy person, someone who is often surrounded by loving friends and family. It also has very great influence. You are a leader who finds common grounds amongst others to bond on." He added, and set the card down, and picked up the next.
"The Queen of Cups." He smiled. "Looks like you are getting alot of cup readings." He mentioned, and read the definition. "The queen of cups acts like a human mirror. She often lets others see themselves in her, and lets them see their mysteries for themselves. She, however, is closed, even to her own mysteries at times. She is a gifted healer and teacher."
He sighed, and picked up the last card. "Ready?" He asked her, and turned it over. "The Queen of Pentacles." He said, and nodded. "It says that you are materially wealthy, though even that does not compare to the kindness and generosity you show. You are wealthy in personality, and you are strong willed, and yet more caring to people than anyone." He grinned. "I think that describes you, don't you?" He asked, and set down the book.

Penelope blushed when he said that he thought she was the Queen of cups from his reading, and that he smiled more often when she was around. "You should show that smile more often you know. Its very becoming on you." She said, her voice low, a smile spread across her face.
When Kain read her cards, Penelope enjoyed it all, and the person Kain was describing with the cards sounded truely amazing. However, she wasn't sure if it matched her. Penelope just didn't see herself that way.
"Those could describe me I suppose, but I don't see myself that great." Penelope stated. She then looked into Kain's grey eyes with her own.
"So tell me Mr. Winters, do you think there's a great love in my cards?" She asked, a grin on her face. "Or shall I check yours to see if there's any romance for me to be jealous over?" She asked, teasing him with the last part about the jealousy.

"Oh, I do indeed think you are great enough for all of these cards, don't be so modest." He ordered, his tone strict, but yet still kind. He smiled at her, and thought about everything he had said. He believed all of it to be spot on.
But when Penelope asked him if she had great love in her future, Kain froze. He didn't want her to be talking about him...because he knew what would happen, eventually. But, then, seeing her look right into his eyes, he couldn't say no. "Yes..." He started, and stuttered a bit. "Y-You do." He replied, and shook his head, snapping him out of it. "You do have great love in the future." He said, and smiled at her. "But, I don't know about me." He admitted, and looked at the cards in front of Penelope.

"Ooh how exciting! I wonder what guy will sweep me off my feet," she said, "you know, Harry has been looking at me quite a bit. He may even ask me to the Yule Ball." She said, trying to lighten the mood, she had noted Kain's slight hesitation when she asked about love in her cards.
"Lets do a love reading for you, shall we?" she browsed through her text book until she came across the correct way to do a love tarot card reading. She shuffled the cards, and then handed them to Kain.
"Just split the deck and hand me both halfs," she said. Kain did as she asked, and then she placed the top card face up on the table.
"First card, ."The Eight of Cups. It shows that you had once lost everything or believed that you lost everything and felt very alone." Penelope looked up at Kain, she felt the same aching for him that she felt in the castle, like she wanted to hug him and do anything to make sure that he was happy. She quickly continued the reading though, to not let on that she was remembering the last class. She didn't want anything to ruin their alone time together.
She flipped the second card over, "The fool. Something unexpecting is happening, thats very new to you. Hmm that sounds promising."
Penelope flipped the third card over, "Lovers," Penelope glanced up at Kain and raised her eyebrow, a grin on her lips, "Seems there's a lucky girl at Hogwarts. Maybe Cho will get her wish?" Penelope winked playfully at Kain before continuing her reading. "Lovers of course stands for the beginning of a romance, judging by the fool card before this one, the whole romance thing will be rather new for you."
She flipped over the fourth card, "The sun. Well thats good news. It means that for a while, everything will be great and full of joy."
Penelope flipped over the last card, and looked at it for a moment, the smile coming off of her face, "The Hermit card, which means that there'll come a time that you'll need to think very long and hard about your life and what everything means to you. A time for self evaluation."
"It looks like you'll find your queen soon, Mighty Goblin King," Penelope said with a smile. She pulled her legs up in the arm chair and put her finger up to her chin. "Hmm I wonder who it'll be.. Cho? Hannah? Lavender? Or maybe Evvie Willows?" Penelope said with a little giggle.
