Kain sat still as the rain began to pour down on him gently, through the leaves on the tree above him. He closed his sketchbook slowly, and sighed, looking up at the rain through tentative eyes. He smiled softly when he saw Jared and Erin talking. He liked Jared, he was one of the few Gryffindor boys that Kain didn't want to punch in the face. Kain was shaken out of his reverie by the realization that his hair was getting wet. Grumbling, he put his sketchbook above his head, and used it as a shelter. "So, Draco what are you wearing to the party tonight?" He asked, for he had overheard girls obsessing over their outfits for later on in the evening.
Kain would just wear his white jacket, skinny worn black jeans, and some random accessories. (ooc-the outfit he's wearing in Draco's 'lovely' post,"Randomness: of Kain Winters" second from the bottom.) He wasn't going to over-react, it was only a party, and it was nothing to worry about.

Penelope helped Alice up and giggled when she saw that her friend was covered in mud. Together they made their way to where the other students were standing.
She pointed her wand at Alice and said a spell that caused the mud on her clothes to disappear instantly. After that they walked to where Erin and Jared were talking.
Penelope liked Jared, he reminded her alot of Gryffin, and both of them were even muggle born.. what were the odds? She smiled at him, "Its good that you're coming along Jared, I'd hate to have to talk Gryffin into helping me kidnap you," she said teasingly.

"Trust you to fall in the mud,"Erin said laughing playfully at Alice, it looked like everyone was now dry, apart from Erin. She just didn't trust those sort of spells.
She randomly picked up a wet lock of hair and twirled it between her fingers, swinging her legs underneath Hagrids counter. She was soo bored and practically humming with early energy for the party.
"So have you decided on any music then?" She asked thinking about the wizard band the Wyrd sisters.

Alice smiled "I haven't a clue!" she said.
Truth be told she was just thinking of a music player and CD's.
"Any idea's" she asked the group "That doesn't involve kidnapping the weird sisters?" she asked smirking at Erin.
Alice smiled "thanks Pen, I'm really not coordinated" she laughed pointing her wand at her soaking wet hair drying it, she pointed her wand at Pens, erins and Jared's so every one was completly dry

"Oh i dont like those sort of spells," Erin said as she felt er hair sizzle, "I set my hair on fire when i was 12 with it," She laughed. "Never again!"
"And i wasn't thinking of kidnapping the wyrd sisters numpty," she said scowling playfully at her friend. "Just get a CD or something."
"Yeah the wyrd sisters are cool," Martha said smiling, "they terrify my brother which is a bonus!"
Erin laughed. It was soo like Martha to abuse her brothers weaknesses. Oh well she gave as good as she got, sometimes.
"So what do you think Jared, what sort of music are you into?" she asked unable to control the grin spreading across her face as she looked at him, seriously what was wrong with her.

Stacey walked over to join Erin, Penelope, Alice, Martha and Jared. "Hi guys." She said ringing her wet hair. Stacey put her belongings down and pulled out her wand doing the same spell Alice had used to dry herself off. She turned to Jared, "Hey, I hear you're coming to the party. Brilliant." She said smiling at Jared. Stacey then turned to Erin in mock dissapointment, "What? Where not kidnapping the wierd sisters. I had the perfect plan." She said smirking at her.

"Yea right, you would probably just put a duffle bag over their heads and run off laughing maniacally!" erin joked laughing as her friends hair sizzled and stuck out in weird places.
"i would help, but you hair may catch fire!" she warned holding her wand up and arching an eyebrow.
"You want me to fix it straight?" She asked grinning,

Will looked up when the conversation reached music, he liked music. He sat down on one of the very little spaces next to Alice and Penelope. "Hey how about some muggle music as well" said Will "I know of some great muggle bands and I'm sure Jared will know some too" he said, he thought about bringing his kings of leon CD, some metallica and definetly some escape the fate.
He wondered what else they were doing at least it wasn't Karaoke then again that would have been hilarious especially once every ones been on the fire whisky.

Stacey muttered a curse under her breath when she ruined her hair. She hadn't been concentrating on her hair and she was usually okay at hair spells. "No thanks Erin." Stacey replied to Erin when she asked if I'd like it fixed. Something about the whole hair catching fire just didn't appeal to her. Stacey eyed Erins wand making sure she didn't have the oppertunity to even attempt to fix her hair then turned to will, "Muggle music sounds good." She told him running her fingers through her frizzed up hair irratated with her spell work. She made a mental note, thatn next time she tried a hair spell she would be in the right frame of mind.

Alice looked at her friends frazzled hair and decided to help
She sighed and pulled out her wand she tapped the top of stacey's hair and suddenly it was straight once more with a few added loose curls just for effect, Alice removed her wand hoping she hadn't gone overboard but she was happy with her work
"There you go Stace" said Alice happily, handing her a large oversized mirror that was propped up against the huge arm chair.

Stacey felt a warm sensation through her hair when Alice tapped the top of her head. She reached up and touch her hair it felt soft.
When Alice pulled out the mirror stacey dreaded seeing her hair. What would have happened to it. She new that Alice was fantastic at hair but it didn't stop her worrying. The worry soon vanished when she looked in the large mirror.
Staceys hair looked amazing. It was straight and sleek with a few added curls that made it so much better. It looked alot better than it had before and she couldn't help but admire Alices spell work.
"Thankyou. It looks amazing Alice." Stacey said still looking in the mirror. You are my new hairdresser." Stacey said grinning.
She turned to the rest of them, "What do you think?" She asked them indicating to her hair. "It looks great Stacey." Martha said, giving Alice the thumbs up.

Jared had been running his hands through his hair thinking about which jeans to wear with what top at the upcoming party when Alice cast a spell on Stacey to fix her hair. The effect of what the spell done was instant. Staceys hair straightened and had a few added curls when she was finished. It really suited her well. Jared was also amazed at Alices spell work. She had done a brilliant job on Stacey's hair. Jared was usually pretty good at hair charms because he had, had quite a few different hairstyles but Alice was brilliant at them. "It really suits you Stacey." Jared said truthfully smiling, when Stacey asked for everyones opinion. Jared then looked at Alice, "Nice job." He told her. He then leaned back and continued to be deep in thought about what to wear. "Hey will. What Muggle music do you have?" He asked. Muggle music was great and was something Jared really enjoyed listening to.

Draco seemed to be getting annoyed with the rain, due to the fact that he was squirming uncomfortably next to Kain. Letting out a sigh of defeat, Kain stood up from the rock wall which the two were previously sitting on, and headed over to Hagrid's hut. He leaned up against the wall, and let his entire body sink downwards, until he caught himself, and pushed back up. The rain always made him drowsy, lethargic. But, he loved it, either way. It was nicer, however, to be sitting in his dormitory, and watch the rain, than to be standing around smelly animals in the rain. He could hear everyone's conversation, and could tell that they didn't want Kain to add in his two cents, even though he stood right by them. He wasn't bothered by this, even the slightest, actually. He liked being forgotten. Yes, it was depressing to think, but he actually wanted to have people forget about him. But, it seemed that was usually impossible, and Kain was stuck to live with it. Kain heard them talking about Muggle Music, and Draco scoffed. He was certainly displeased with their conversation now. Draco had already stated that he was going to wear black skinny jeans, dress shoes, and a black button up shirt, (With the sleeves rolled up, of course) to the party, and obviously didn't want to hear any more of it. Especially not about the music. Kain sighed, and opened up his sketchpad, which was now almost completely ruined. All that was left of the Kneazle was the tip of its ears and tail, the rest was now deformed into running ink. Kain frowned at his failure, and closed the sketchbook and tucked it under his arm.

Erin smiled at stacey when Alice fixed her hair, it looked nice she had to admit, and she did admire her friends handiwork. But no way would she use magic on her hair. It was like a phobia and the wolf hated it.
Erin new that her own hair would dry quickly and into large ringlets, well it beat frizzy but she prefered it when it was straight!
"Hmm music," she said, "I'm pretty into busted, whetus, foo fighters stuff like that just now. Thats for muggle music anyway. I like the old stuff at the minute thanks to my dad." she said grinning and shaking her head.
Martha laughed at her choice of music and nodded her head enthusiastically 'Scouting for girls are cool too,' she said.

Penelope didn't really know much about music, especially muggle music since her father absolutely forbad her to listen to it. Penelope was lucky that her father agreed to let her play the violin. And so, she didn't contribute anything to the conversation. However, she did notice how Erin's smile grew more and more frequent when she talked to Jared, she couldn't help but wonder if Erin liked the Gryffindor boy. Definately something Penelope was going to have to question Alice about later.
Penelope looked over at Kain, and saw that both Draco and Kyle were looking annoyed by the topic of conversation. Penelope knew where Kyle stood on the topic of muggle music.. or rather anything muggle related, she had a feeling that Draco felt the same way. She knew that his parents did.
"What about you Kain? What kind of music do you like?" She asked Kain, trying to include him in the conversation. To not do so would be rude and Penelope was never rude. Well rarely ever.
